There are always lots of people asking about the differences between all the different Ergobaby carriers – especially all those named 360 and/or Omni. It can be very confusing! So…. I thought I’d do a summary of them, detailing when they were launched, what age they generally fit from and any other useful info.
I’ve listed all the new releases in the past 10 or so years, as these are the ones people are most likely to be looking at new or pre-loved. Older models (not listed) include Ergobaby Original, Ergobaby Sport and Ergobaby Options. Slightly different options (Ergobaby Aura wrap, Ergobaby Embrace and Ergobaby Aerloom are detailed at the end)
Hope it’s helpful!

ERGOBABY 360
Released 2014.
Needed cushion insert for newborns.
The first Ergobaby to offer outward facing.
Straps can only be worn straight; they tighten forwards (for a front carry).

Very similar to Omni Breeze/Dream in terms of fit and functionality.

I hope that’s been helpful! You can see my demos of most of these Ergobaby carriers in the Ergobaby Playlist on my YouTube channel. If you need any help with any aspect of Babywearing, please get in touch!
NB Please be aware – whether buying pre-loved or new – there’s a big problem with fake Ergobaby carriers. If buying new, please make sure you purchase from an authorised retailer (avoid Amazon/eBay or anywhere with huge too-good-to-be-true discounts). If buying pre-loved ask to see proof of purchase to ensure it was purchased from an authorised retailer.
