Bambino Baby opened in Petersfield in July 2020 and is set up and run by experienced Babywearing Consultant, Roamy Hunt.
Previously running pop-up shops and sling library sessions at baby groups and other venues – plus offering one-to-one Consultations in her home or at parents’ own homes – she felt a physical shop would be a natural progression.
Roamy has been working with parents and babies in all aspects of babywearing since July 2011. You can read more about her and the shop's journey HERE
Bambino Baby allows people to access expert help and advice more easily – with the option for one-to-one Consultations still available, but also the option to drop in to a physical shop. It also stocks lots of gorgeous baby gifts; including bespoke and ready-made gift boxes, teething toys, blankets, soft toys and nursing necklaces.

The majority of people come in to the during shop opening hours - no appointment needed.
If you'd prefer a home visit - or a private appointment outside of shop hours - one-to-one Babywearing Consultations are also available, full details and booking form are here These generally book about 2-3 weeks in advance and availability is limited.

AWARDS
I am hugely grateful to have been nominated for - and successfully won - some fabulous awards!
In July 2023 I won the LUXlife magazine's Parent and Baby Awards 2023 - Best Baby Carrier & Accessory Retailer - East Hampshire.
In June 2023 I was over the moon to receive my third Muddy Stilettos Hampshire & Isle of Wight Award since opening the shop, winning Best Children's Business for the second year running, A huge thank you to everyone for voting for me!
In October 2022 I was in the final four short-listed for Business of the Year in the Petersfield Awards 2022. Although I wasn't successful this year, it still means a huge amount to be nominated and short-listed, so a big thank to everyone who did so!

In June 2022 I was delighted to receive my second Muddy Stilettos Hampshire & Isle of Wight Award since opening the shop, winning Best Children's Business 2022
In December 2021 I was awarded the Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2021/22 Babywearing Consultant of the Year Award.
In October 2021 I was over the moon to be awarded Petersfield Awards 2021 - Best New Business Award and also to be in the short-list for the Best Business Awards. This Award in particular meant so, so much to me as it was based on submitted nominations - giving the reasons why my customers felt I should win. So it involved quite a bit of time and effort on their part which I am truly grateful for!
In September 2021 I was awarded the UK Enterprise Awards Best Babywearing Consultant 2021 for my work as a Babywearing Consultant and Sling Library
In August 2021 I won the Muddy Stillettos Hampshire & Isle of Wight Award for New Start Up Business 2021 and was also a finalist for the Best Children's Business 2021
